The James House is a Hopewell, VA based organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence through advocacy, support and empowerment. Another successful trip! o_0

As we at Murphy's Kids Industries prepare for another weekend string of shows including Friday Aug 21st at Cary St Cafe in Richmond, it is important to reflect on the events of this past week. So without any real order here are some reflections of being north of the Mason-Dixon this August:

-We met and shared a few wild nights with the boys from Pasadena.
-Natural Bohemian is to Baltimore what Pabst Blue Ribbon is to Richmond.
-Lori Beth was super nice to let us stay at her place and take us swimming.
-Hanging out on rooftops is inherently exciting.
-Philly is an awesome city with tons of awesome murals.
-Tsunami Rising continues to blow my mind and Drew is awesome for putting us up for multiple nights.
-It is really pretty in Upstate New York
-Ska music is alive and well in Connecticut
-Fried Chicken and Waffles tastes better than it sounds.
-Thanks to Cargo for putting us up and thanks to Jess for the Brownies!!
-If you will it, it is no dream.

That being said, MK will be play more shows in Va this month so be on the look out. Hope to see you all very soon.
